Murdishaw Supper Bar

This Chippy has changed ownership. I have been going to this chippy for decades, It took a nose dive in recent years... they reduced the hours and close sometimes at 9pm instead of 11.30pm as they used to. The quality of take away food was rock bottom, before this that chippy was begging for delivery drivers and was packed with customers until close? why on earth would they reduce hours, The food went downhill also and warm up chips that tasted 3 days old was the norm, the sauces became bland and frankly disgusting... BUT there is hope.... NEW OWNERS !!!! The food is back, now all they need to do is return the hours there open to the old times and it will be a hit ! Thank heavens the chippy has been saved.

Better than last time it was an improvement 100% must b someone new alltho ribs are alot worse just not a good rib fatty n lots of nibbly bits but ,suce better ,noodle boxes are great,rice good,iv had more n iv gone back so at the moment I'd say just ribs need improving 2 be honest so I'd say give things another go there

Special fried rice without prawns is spot on really tasty, nice rice I buy a few times.

As promised in my earlier review, I was back tonight. And I can confirm that chips are great, chunky, tasty, made from freshly peeled and cut potatoes. Tonight I tried Roast Duck in plum sauce... I can only say one thing... I was disappointed I didn't try that last time 😉 That was the best duck in plum sauce I had up to date!!! And I try this every place serving a duck in plum sauce. Guys, you made me not only full , but you put a little smile on my face and given a hope that there is still someone actually caring about customers and about the taste. Good job, and forgive me, but next time the choice is obvious - Roast Duck in plum sauce, number 77 on the menu!!! If you ask me for score from 1 to 10, tonight I give you 20!!! Please, don't spoil it as I will be back! (23.01.2023) Great chips, chunky, very tasty. This chippy has been at the centre of mudishaw people and beyond for years, food has always been good and dave and his girls run it efficiently altho a recent lad answering the phone has been hard to understand an has stuffed up a few times this doesnt relate to the usual service and food delivered. Dont turn your back on local sellers, yous would be gutted if it went !!!!!!

Food is lovely here and you get large portions.....a meal with chips is more than enough for 2 adults, we usually feed 3...fish is best I've tasted x

Chips are great, aren't they? I mean come on, what's better than some greasy ass chips smothered with salt and vinegar and topped with a delicious, creamy curry, and don't get me started on the sausages, juicy chunky and plump, nearly melt in your mouth (if they don't melt your mouth of with the intensity of the heat they release when you sink your teeth into them) and it just £1.70 for a large portion of chips that could feed 3 grown adults (depending on the person serving you) and about £1 for a sausage you can't really go wrong, and for a further £1 why not add some curry. Chance it, I guarantee that your meal will satisfy your taste buds, and your appetite.
